His government? I thought it was our government.

Hmm lets think about that for a minute. If it is our government, Wouldn't that make it also my government, your government and his government. So saying my government is grammatically correct.

Irrelevant. Trump said it so that makes it part of his megalomania.
Oh, wait. Trump didn't say it. A meme said it.
Irrelevant. Trump is still to blame because that's the way he thinks.

I mean, either Trump's to blame because this meme reflects the way he actually does think, or the mememaker's to blame because they think he should think that way. Either way, "Government should do what the President wants it to, and not push back" is a dangerous mindset.

The Govt. shouldn't do what the man the people elected wants to do?

Yeah, that would be dangerous.

Yeah, that would be dangerous.
The government should do what he says, exclusive of what the other, illegitimate, legislators, who were also elected by the people, might say. That's authoritarianism, only a couple steps away from outright fascism, and yes, very dangerous.

And on the flip side trump should not just roll over and do what legislators say because that is lack of leadership, which is also dangerous.

Or it could be meant to be humorous and mean absolutely nothing. But the chance to throw a fit over trump is obviously your end goal.

Yes, it would. Because our government should do what the people want to do. The people do not want the wall. Our Racist-in-Chief does not understand that.

Well, you know how liberals are with pronouns, they redefine them for their narrative

Well, if you've been paying attention to the news, you know he's trying to get Congress to kowtow to his whims by shutting down the government. Did you pay enough attention to know that he wants to override the 22nd Amendment? Probably not. If he can do both of those, he makes himself king.

except the dems are the ones trying to repeal it.

Quote:
Members of Congress responsible for almost a dozen attempts to repeal the two-term limit on being president have not reintroduced their bills since President Trump took office.

Two sitting lawmakers, Reps. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., and Jose Serrano, D-N.Y., introduced bills repeatedly to repeal the 22nd Amendment, but have not done so under Trump.

Hoyer pushed six bills to repeal the 22nd Amendment between 1995 and 2005, and Serrano led five attempts between 2005 and 2013.

On second thought, I really don't have a dog in that fight. It doesn't affect me either way, but if he wants a wall why fight him on it? It's not going to hurt to have it. It just seems like a bunch of unnecessary BS from the 'Never Trumpers' too me.

except the dems are the ones trying to repeal it.

Two sitting lawmakers, Reps. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., and Jose Serrano, D-N.Y., introduced bills repeatedly to repeal the 22nd Amendment, but have not done so under Trump.

Let me give you some advice: READ YOUR OWN QUOTES!

... because they understand that making Trump king would not be a good idea. They wanted Obama to serve multiple terms. Sensibly, they don't want that for Trump.

Trump brought up the issue four or five times last year, while you were doing something else besides paying attention.

You really need to pay attention. The fence we have there is already causing damage; a wall will make that damage worse.

First, it's already killing off jaguars and ocelots, because they can't get to their food. You don't care about wild animals, of course, so why should the rest of us care?

Next, it's disrupting the environment on both sides; but you don't care about the environment, so why should the rest of us care?

Third, the fence blocks several rivers when they overflow, causing floods. But you don't care if people lose their houses in a flood, so why should the rest of us care?

And speaking of losing houses: in several locations, the proposed wall goes right through established American neighborhoods, putting several hundred American homes on the wrong side of the wall. There's no consideration in Trump's plan for relocating these people, so their choices are to lose their homes or become Mexicans. But you don't care about these people, so why should the rest of us care?

I guess that leaves armed guards. Shoot to kill.
